Distribution of Saudi Dates among flood affected communities of District Sohbatpur

District Sohbatpur is a flood prone area and being affected with flash monsoon floods since 2010. Flash Floods of 2010, 2012 and 2022 ruined 70% of physical infrastructure of the district whereas local communities are living under miseries. Among number of vulnerabilities malnutrition and Food insecurity is a burning issue of the area.

In order to cope with food insecurity of flood affected communities of the district sohbat pur KS Relief Pakistan provided Saudi Dates for 1000 families. YMSESDO with close coordination of PDMA and district Administration conducted a household survey and identified 1000 most vulnerable families and distributed the Dates Caron Provided by KS Releif Pakistan.
